During the summer of 2026, Remora partnered with the City of St. Petersburg to engage local businesses in conversations about their current straw use practices, plastic-free alternatives, and waste reduction resources.
Sip Sustainably Businesses
As part of this project, we identified Sip Sustainably Businesses. They are reducing plastic waste through compliance with the City’s single-use plastic straw ordinance (O356-H). By choosing plastic-free alternatives, these businesses are helping to support local sustainability goals and build a healthier community.
Know of a business that should be included? We'd love to hear from you. Contact us at reducesingleuse@eckerd.edu.
