What is a challenge?
Short term challenges on the app allow users track their uses and refusals and compete with other members to see who can refuse the most plastic or post the most over the time period. Challenges can be run by anyone, and are conducive for college clubs, classes in school, businesses, organizations and even girl scout troops!
Why run a challenge?
Challenges engage people by bringing them together over a shared goal. Participants can get rewarded for their achievements, which encourages them to continue tracking their uses and refusals.
Track single-use-plastic consumption, engage users, and track progress towards refusing plastics.

What kind of data do challenges collect?
Challenges gather data to understand single-use plastic consumption in your community. These data can be used to identify areas where plastics are difficult to refuse, which could be used to inform local policy changes. This can make getting involved fun for community members!
